You Nervous?

Anxiety- a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about a imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. This is the definition of anxiety but this definition doesn’t define you. I had to learn that the hard way. I would be asked to do things and I would say “I have anxiety I can’t do that.” Like it’s apart of my identity but it’s not. God defines me. He says I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. Anxiety can creep up at any moment at any given time. But faith. Faith is what can calm that anxiety. Faith that God has control.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

God cares about us. He cares about what we go through on a daily basis. That’s why he tells us to cast all anxiety to him. He wants to take it from us. He doesn’t want us to suffer and be fearful in our life.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

The enemy likes to keep your anxiety stirred up. He will scream loud frightful thoughts into your ear just to distract you away from God. Away from trusting the true word. I know because I deal with this everyday.

Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5:9

We have to resist the devil and stand firm on Gods word. Your not alone. There are millions of people going through the same thing your going through. There’s always a loving hand out there to help you through it.

God I pray that you take our anxiety away. I know it’s not easy having anxiety and help us stand firm in you and resist the devils tricks. We love you and we are grateful for everything your doing in our lives. Amen.
