Into the dark
The dark is a scary place. It’s where all your depression and anxiety creeps in. All those negative thoughts speaking to you. It’s like your trap and there’s no hope. I’ve been there. I’ve felt hopeless. You try anything and everything to find your way out. Sometimes Any hand reaching out in the darkness seems like a good hand to grab ahold of. Trying to escape what your facing in life. But that hand can be just as harmful as the dark. There are hands reaching for you trying to pull you in every which way. Rather it’s to drugs, over eating, a bad relationship, alcohol, pornography, you name it. There’s always something out there to “escape” the darkness with but little did you know that’s only making that darkness grow. But there’s one hand in particular that shines brighter. His name is Jesus. We need to seek him in the darkness and he will bring us to light.
Jesus meets you where your at. He’s loved you even in your darkness.
